Tips On Being A Lean, Mean Racing Machine

by Dana on August 1, 2011

Since we’re focusing on triathlete Laura Bennett before she races to qualify for the Olympics, it seemed appropriate to talk about being in your best shape before you race. Of course, not everyone competes at the elite level so each person’s needs are different, but we’re all striving to have our bodies at their best.

Last week we talked about fueling your body to maximize your workouts and this week is a similar concept when we point you to an article that talks about being a lean, mean racing machine – I find tip #4 especially useful because it gives you a great base formula to work with but then also accounts for when you’re training hard and gives helpful examples for the triathlon trifecta.

Don’t forget to enter the gear giveaway that H20 Audio and Words to Sweat by are offering which ends August 5th.
