Favorite outdoor activity: What girl doesn’t like shopping? Most of the time I’m assisting on photo shoots whether it be on the beach, heavily-wooded areas, or even at the gym.
When I’m not helping with photo shoots, my three kids keep me plenty busy.

The Heavy Lifting
What does being “healthy and fit” mean to you?
I think I am healthy and fit. I eat clean for the most part and I certainly think I am fit, but we all have our problem areas. Our body is the only vehicle we have in life so I try to give it the right fuel and so far it takes me to where I need to go with some occasional need for tune up…lol
Have health and fitness, in some form, always been a part of your life? If yes, how so? If no, why not?
It has been for at least the last 10 years and now that I am a mom of 3 I strive to stay on track always so that I can be a good role model for my children and help them understand the importance of being active and eating healthy.
What goals around your health and fitness do you set and how do you stay motivated?
I always challenge myself. I’d like to lean out more and I have a certain goal in mind so I’m hoping to hit that – it’s easy to stay motivated when you live in warm climate like I do in Florida because most of the time you are wearing very little clothing or swimwear and its nice to show off a healthy physique.
What types of lifestyle changes have you made over the years that were the most beneficial?
I eat very little in the ways of processed foods. I cook quite a bit at home that way I can monitor what I put into my food or on top of my food and what my kids eat. It gives me peace of mind to know that I am fueling my body and their bodies with healthy foods.
What tools or approaches have you found most useful in meeting your goals?
Setting small, attainable goals is the best way to go. It can be something as simple as saying that you will drink a liter of water a day and then, once you hit that goal, add another and keep going.
What workouts do you find most effective for your needs and your time constraints?
I like training core, but I workout a few days a week and do specific body part training. I am in and out in 30 minutes or so.
The Cool Down
What are your next goals related to your health and fitness?
I’d like to compete someday in the bikini division, but it has been tough to do with 3 little ones to look after as well; but who knows one day!
What advice do you have for people looking to find their own health & fitness groove?
The best advice is to be patient – it takes time. Be compliant – you will not reach your goals if you don’t make a commitment to be consistent you in your routine . If you eat clean and workout and are dedicated to making the changes it will happen.
