2. The Complete Guide To Yin Yoga by Bernie Clark
…speaking of Yin Yoga. My first introduction to Yin yoga was joining a friend at a local class. It was a nice change from Hatha yoga because of the focus on stretching the deep connective tissue and spending a longer period of time in each pose.
I hoped to continue the practice but getting to a class became difficult so I found a great solution when I purchased The Complete Guide to Yin Yoga: The Philosophy and Practice of Yin Yoga. Not only does Bernie Clark provide a solid introduction to the hows and the whys of the practice, but he also outlines a variety of sequences for the different areas of the body that need focus.
