Use Your Words™ Humorous Fitness Apparel Is Music Inspired

I heart music

I love music.

Simple as that.

Now, my love of music isn’t the ‘boxes of vinyl and an old turn table in my basement’ kind of love, but more the connection of movement and melodic sound.

Some form of music has been a central part of my life since as long as I can remember. All of my long-term competitive athletic endeavors involved an event set to music. There was choir, piano, and that very short-lived stint with the flute.

I am often driven solely by the daily need to hear notes – sometimes with words, sometimes without – that inspire me.

The variety of musical notes help me breathe more smoothly, add a little hop to my step, or stop my head from spinning from the stress of the day. Mind you, that’s not even counting daily workout music, because we all know how that helps us push through the toughest days.

I love music so much I even created a small business motivation mix for the ladies over at Tin Shingle to keep entrepreneurs inspired.

And while my music library may not rival “hard core” music enthusiasts, it could hold its own. It’s an eclectic mix of everything from hip hop to classical, world music to bluegrass.

So when I started brainstorming mantras for the Use Your Words™ humorous fitness apparel collection, it was only natural that my usual mantra sass was tightly linked to songs stored away in my music-filled mind. While staring at each of the graphics, it was difficult not to start singing a little ditty in my head and when the graphic could be paired with (at least) one double entendre, then I knew I had a match.

In the “old days” I would have made a mix tape filled with the songs that inspired Use Your Words™, but today we have the nifty Amazon.com widget where you can buy your favorites with a click of the button. I have therefore compiled the available songs below for your viewing and listening pleasure.

May the music move you!
