Meatless In Los Angeles

by Dana on November 12, 2012

Last week, the Los Angeles city council declared all future Mondays, “Meatless Monday” in the hopes of improving the health of their community. The idea of going meatless at least one day a week isn’t new but it was it was in 2003 that Sid Lerner started an old movement for a new reason.

If you’re looking for new options to change or improve your eating habits, why not try going meatless on Monday? This list of dinner recipes is a great place to start.

What do you think about Los Angeles making this an official city-wide effort? Is it the role of the city council to pass a resolution to spread this message in this way?
