As Summer starts to heat up, an ice cold beverage becomes a necessity and what better way to hydrate and stay cool than a healthy mix-up of fruits and vegetables?
Healthy smoothies are a great “go to” drink on days when you need a boost of energy for a busy day outside or you’re looking for an easy way to get your daily servings of fruits and vegetables into your diet.
With smoothies, however, it’s easy to get into a rut – you find something you like and move it over and an over only to tire of it and stop making them. So, on Mondays throughout the Summer, I’m going to provide a smoothie recipe for you to try.
