14 Carol Oldham March 9, 2011 at 12:33 PM

…hmmm, roamed the internet a bit more. My total is not correct. These athletes are very busy right now, and I’m thinking Katherine has not updated her website. Adjusted number forthcoming.

21 Mike Lewis March 9, 2011 at 8:46 PM

I believe Katherine has won 25, but it’s more than enough fingers and toes I have, so I lose count. 😉

22 Laura Robinson March 9, 2011 at 9:34 PM

The question is “How many times has Katherine been on the podium at Worlds?”, so I’m gonna assume they’re talking about World Championships. (I think) that would be 3 times – once in Korea, twice in Bulgaria!

23 Wulan March 10, 2011 at 3:52 AM

20 (?)

24 Martha Breidenthal March 10, 2011 at 5:13 AM

Good catch Laura. I’m going to have to agree with you. And she’ll be adding more to that total this weekend in Sheffield, England. Go Katherine! We’re “rootin” for you.

25 Margaret Douglass March 10, 2011 at 9:02 AM

ALOT! My guess is 21

26 Patty Mavrogianis March 10, 2011 at 11:27 AM

14 (World Cup, World Team, WOrld Championships and Olympics)

27 Carol Oldham March 12, 2011 at 12:31 PM

I think this was a trick question just to make us learn more about World Medals. World Cup medals vs World Medals vs Olympic Medals. If you ask Katherine, I bet she would humbly say, “Alot, but I’m not sure of the exact number.” But I bet she really is. Looks like her luggage will be heavier when she returns from England!

28 Lisa March 13, 2011 at 12:44 PM

12 not counting the ones from England.
