March is coming to an end, which means that it’s the last of the March Madness giveaways and this is the big one!
The prize?
Four people will win a $50 gift certificate to the Words to Sweat by shop.
Just like with the other three giveaways, entering is easy.
I want to end March with a laugh and a smile so, please leave a comment with the worst health or fitness advice you’ve ever been given.
You know there has been plenty of bad advice so think through it all and share the one that still makes you shake your head in disbelief.
Bring it on!

Love the Fierce necklace!!
I was once told not to drink water because it would make me bloated. Good thing I didn’t listen! Haha
I was told that I could eat whatever I wanted as long as I didn’t swallow it! Just chew it to taste it and spit it out!! HA!!
That not loosing weight was ok because I was probably just gaining muscle and it weighs more. SURE, if I am near the end of my loss and studying subtle nuances of the scale. BUT if I am at the beginning of trying to loose 30 pounds…the scale ain’t moving because the Cheetos ARE moving: Into my mouth.
I like the “Squat is a Four letter word” towel.
Worst advice I’ve ever gotten: limit your protein because it has too much fat.
Thanks for the giveaway.
Hmmm, I’ve been fortunate that my advice has generally been good. I just wish I had been told the value of keeping up my flexibility from childhood by making time in my teens and twenties. Now that I’m in my thirties, I am working extra hard to get some of that back!
Love the ‘stride’ towel and still love the ‘put your heart into it’ towel.
To just keep going, no matter what – there *IS* a difference between good pain and bad pain, and pushing me through bad pain has got me injured far too many times. 🙁
Don’t drink water bc ull gain weight.
‘No pain, no gain’
As in excessive pain such that it affects daily functioning..
The worst advice I received was: “Oh yeah, your fat will just turn to muscle” which goes right up there with “Calories don’t really matter, just don’t eat after 7 pm, everything in the evening automatically turns to fat”. Oh boy.
The fit and lift bracelets are awesome and so is the healthy word cloud tee!
No pain no gain for me too! I’ve learned the hard way that pain is not always a good thing!
Love the Fit Bottomed Girls necklaces!
The hamburger patty and cottage cheese ARE the diet plate.
